All of net proceeds from the Salem Road Race will be donated to

charities supported by the Salem Lions Club.

Lions Clubs International is a service club organization whose local club members are all volunteers.

The Salem, CT Lions club typically sponsor programs that provides assistance for the purchase of

eyeglasses, hearing aids, health-related services, scholarships, or educational needs.

 News and Events

 Thursday March 31, 2012: 


 All pre-registered children in the 1.0 Mile 

 Family Fun Run/Walk will receive a free T-Shirt. 

 After this date, pre-registered families

 will receive only two free T-Shirts. 

 Tuesday April 10, 2012: 


 Discounted pre-registration deadline. 

 Mailed forms postmarked no later than 4/5. 

 Friday April 13, 2012: 


 6:30 - 9:00PM   Salem School - Front lobby. 

 Pre-race registration and T-Shirt pickup. 

 Pre-Registered runners: Race Number Pick-Up. 

 Saturday April 14, 2012: 


 7:30AM  Race Day Registration Begins 

 9:00AM  1.0 Mile Family Fun Run/Walk 

 10:00AM  Main Event: 5K Race 

 11:00AM  Pancake Brunch and Awards
